Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence is abuse perpetrated by one person against any of the following:
(a) A spouse or former spouse
(b) A cohabitant or former cohabitant
(c) A person with whom the perpetrator is having or has had a dating relationship
(d) A person with whom the perpetrator has a child wit
(e) Any other person related by blood or marriage within the second degree
Domestic Violence is a serious offense and can not only have criminal ramifications, but also can affect child custody, child support, spousal support, etc.
